When you visit The Farm, come shake the hand of the Property/Facilities Manager, Daniel Paul Clark. He works tirelessly and mostly thanklessly all year long taking care of the grounds, and facilities on The Farm.
If there is something that has broken, he fixes it. If something needs to be built, he builds it. If a storm comes through and knocks down branches, he cleans up the area and cuts the wood.
He prepares for every event, open mic, special concert, and festival, and cleans up afterwards. We owe Daniel a great big Thank You for all his work making The Farm, a nice, safe, and clean environment.
He is always looking for volunteers to help him with various tasks. If you are skilled as an electrician, carpenter, plumber, or general construction, and have a few hours to spare, there are some projects that could use some teamwork. What a great way to give back to The Farm!
Daniel has an on-going wish list, things that he could really use to help him maintain The Farm. He would love to accept donated new or gently used items such as:
Large Trash Bins on wheels
Dumpster
Firewood
Tractor
Mulch
Canopies
Stage Backdrop
Chest Freezer
Chairs
Picnic Tables
Storage Containers
Large Shed
Any leftover construction materials such as:
Paint
Brushes
Tile
2x4's
4x6's
Window screening
Chicken Wire
and ...
maybe even 10 - 15 chickens!
Some of the projects being considered for the beginning of the year, are building a chicken coop and replacing and securing the screening in the cookhouse.
If you have resources to help, whether financially, or by donating items, it would really be appreciated, and will help to grow The Farm, that helps us all!
